Whitney Winfield is an actor, singer, and dancer, based in New York City, who has appeared off-Broadway, on tour, in concerts, and in many regional theaters across the country including the Fulton Theatre, Maine State Music Theatre, and Tuacahn Center for the Arts.
Originally from Naples, Florida, Whitney began performing at eight years old. Acting became her main focus when she left home to study theatre at Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, where she graduated with highest academic and theatrical honors. She was also a theatre finalist in the National Young Arts Competition. She continued her studies and graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Pace University in Manhattan.
Most recently she played the role of Rosa Bud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood at TheatreZone. Offstage, she enjoys spending time with her partner Jacob, their dog Leroy, friends and family, in addition to practicing daily meditation and yoga, traveling, and continuing to learn to play the ukulele and guitar.
